Privacy Policy

Paceon ("we," "our," or "us") is operated by miuustudio. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use the Paceon mobile application and website at paceon.fit.

By using Paceon, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and any optional profile details you provide (name, target race, fitness level).

Training data: We collect workout completions, pace data, skipped sessions, and weekly mileage you enter or that syncs from Strava.

Strava data (if connected): With your permission, we receive activity data from Strava — distance, pace, elevation, and GPS polylines for courses. We do not post to Strava on your behalf without explicit action.

Apple Health data (if connected): Heart rate and workout data, if you grant permission. You can revoke this at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy → Health.

Device information: Device type, OS version, and push notification token (for daily run reminders you opt into).

Usage data: App screens visited, features used, and error logs. We use this to improve the product.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Generate and adapt your personalized training plan using the Anthropic Claude API.
• Sync and match your Strava activities to your planned workouts.
• Send daily push notifications for upcoming workouts (only if you opt in).
• Respond to support inquiries sent to hello@paceon.fit.
• Monitor service reliability, diagnose errors, and improve the app.
• Process subscription payments via Apple's in-app purchase system.

3. Third-Party Services

Paceon uses the following third-party services that may receive your data:

• Supabase — Database and authentication infrastructure. Your data is stored in Supabase's cloud (hosted on AWS). Supabase Privacy Policy.
• Anthropic Claude API — AI plan generation. Your training profile (race date, fitness data, pace targets) is sent to Anthropic to generate your training plan. Anthropic does not retain prompts beyond the response. Anthropic Privacy Policy.
• Strava API — Activity sync (only if you connect). Governed by Strava's Privacy Policy.
• Apple — Push notifications and in-app subscriptions. Apple Privacy Policy.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties, ever.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Training plan data (workouts, completions, pace history) is retained as long as your account is active and is deleted upon account deletion.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate information.
• Delete your account and associated data by contacting hello@paceon.fit or using the in-app account deletion option.
• Export your training data on request.
• Withdraw consent for Strava or Apple Health access at any time in your device settings.
• Opt out of push notifications in iOS Settings → Notifications → Paceon.

6. Children's Privacy

Paceon is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. International Users

Paceon is operated by miuustudio. If you are located outside of the country where our servers are hosted, your information may be transferred to and processed in a different country. By using Paceon, you consent to this transfer.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data: HTTPS for all data in transit, encrypted storage via Supabase, and row-level security policies ensuring users can only access their own data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure — we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take it seriously.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of Paceon after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
